We agree to recoat any affected part free of charge within a reasonable period of time and we agree to pay return ground freight of said part. We will not refund the price of purchase but will gladly repair part free of charge. The warranty does not cover labor or materials needed for removal and istallation of said part, such as gaskets, bolts, clamps, ect. The warranty also does not cover burning or overtemp of part, which is easily identified by turning gray to pewter color, depending upon severity of the overtemp.

Treat your coated part as you would polished aluminum. The use of alkali or acid cleaners will etch and discolor the part making it more susceptible to corrosion and thus will void your warranty. Stains and surface rust from road splash, such as snow and rain can be wet sanded with 1500 grit wet and dry sandpaper and then polished out with California Cusom Purple Metal Polish TM or Blue Magic TM aluminum polish, both available at many stores and major truck stops. Most other aluminum cleaners have an abrasive which is too course and will change the appearance of the part. If in doubt try to polish on an obscure area first to see if it affects the appearance of the part. The coating will provide you years of service, but like all polished parts must be maintained to keep its polished appearance.
